Beef chicken beef chicken beef….

Getting old?

That’s the general consensus. So, per reader request, I am sharing one of my “quick n’ easy” recipes that breaks up the beefchickenbeef monotony.

Teriyaki Fish

You will need:

Terriyaki sauce/glaze (Asian cuisine aisle) and ground ginger (spice aisle)

Boneless filets of your choice of fish. I use Swai.
(Frozen at major grocery stores, around $10-$12 for a bag of 6 packaged filets– tastes just like tilapia but the filets are a lot larger.)

Steps:  (It ain’t much!)

1. On a greased baking sheet, sprinkle filets generously with ground ginger.

2. Pour on some teriyaki, using the back of a spoon for even, thin coverage.

3. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. (Up the temp a bit the last 5 minutes if you like the edges a little drier/crispier.)

That’s it!  Throw a bag of stir fry veggies in a pan and set some minute rice to steam and you’ve got a meal. But, I cheat a little on the side dish…

A little processed carbs ONCE IN A WHILE never really hurt anyone… and these are so damn good it should be illegal.
And $1 a bag! SHUT UP!

Dinner is served!

Not too bad, mom!
